A responsible user may do the following:

  • Search, view or retrieve materials not related to school work, community service, employment or further education
  • Use e-mail unless specifically assigned by a teacher for educational purposes

  • Use the network in a way that will disrupt the use of the network by other users

Technology Plan Highlights

The president, principal and board of directors will continue to explore ways to ensure adequate funding for ongoing improvement and updating of technological capabilities.

The principal and in-school technology committee will update and implement the technology plan each year

The department chairpersons, in planning with their department members, will increase software holdings in specific disciplines

The staff development committee will continue meeting teacher needs by appropriate in-servicing in response to their needs to integrate new software and electronic research and project opportunities in their classes

The technology coordinator and computer department chairperson will revise and enhance the goals and objectives of the computer curriculum

Teachers will expand their use of technology for instruction of students in specific subjects as well as incorporate its use into independent study of assignments.
